Catherine and Roger are the happy owners of Pablo, a 2-year-old dog. They live near Nimes and are used to moving home.
In August last year, they go on vacation to Italy. After 20 days of excursions, they stop in the mountains towards Saint-Martin-de-Belleville.
Pablo scanned the premises, followed his master as he rode his mountain bike. But this time the dog didn’t come back and they started to worry.
They waited until the next day, but the dog was still missing. They went in search of their four-legged friend. Pablo was emaciated, thin, dehydrated, but healthy.
After several days of good recovery, the dog was already in excellent shape. Its owners decided to invest in a GPS collar so that such problems would not arise again.
Canine psychologist Arian Severan explained that it is impossible to overcome 380 kilometers of distance alone.
So it’s entirely possible that the dog was locked up in a cattle truck heading south the whole time and escaped just in time.
