A feral stray kitten in a landfill got a new chance to live after miraculously escaping from a fire. The fireman who saved him from this hell instantly fell under his spell.

On July 25, 2022, at dawn, a terrible fire suddenly broke out at a waste collection site located in Bulwell Lane, Old Bassford in the UK.

6 fire engines rushed to the spot. It took firefighters more than 12 hours to put out the blaze, as the debris was highly flammable.

Amidst the chaos, one of the officers stumbled across a small kitten that was only 10 weeks old at the time. The poor kitten was in a very bad situation, dirty, hungry and in poverty.

So the man placed him in a guarded vehicle with a bowl of water while he carried out his mission.

When Chris Emmott, Operations Manager, discovered the kitten, he felt a strong sense of protection he couldn’t explain. It was obvious that the unfortunate man did not have a home and he really needed help.

After the kitten was rescued, Chris took him to the vet. The child, whom he named Ash, was therefore examined.

He did not suffer from any serious illness, but the veterinarian still prescribed him antibiotics to finally put him on his feet. In addition, Ash has been vaccinated, identified and de-wormed. When he reaches adulthood, he is sterilized.

Chris then took Ash home. His children and wife were more than happy to see him. Since then, he has been pampered and loved, and takes full advantage of his new living conditions.

Indeed, Ash had no problem swapping out the trash bags for a cozy blanket and a cat-friendly meal made from homemade leftovers.

Ash has now found his loving home forever thanks to the fire soldier’s dedication and benevolence
