This cat was very happy and left an irreplaceable place in the hearts of his family after his death. It all started when one of the rescuers, Jill Williams, received an email asking her to adopt some kittens.
A woman with a husband, four dogs, and two children longed to have a cat, but didn’t know what it would be like to have a new family member.
They were very convinced that even if they temporarily took care of a stray cat, they would have to separate them.
At first, they had no idea how their dogs would react to the new feline family member. Jill went to the shelter and noticed several cats looking for homes for them.
At that moment, she wanted to get a little cat, but instead she met a toothless old cat, Dexter, who really liked her. He immediately stole her heart.
The family adopted a 20-year-old cat to make him happy in his old age. Jill doubted their new 20 year old cat could live with four dogs and two active kids at that age, but Dexter didn’t mind at all, all he needed was a home and a family.
