The doggie is shocked that his father found him at last after 200 days

The heartfelt reunion between Blue’s father and his beloved friend is so uplifting since he never imagined seeing them again.

In accordance with the Washington County Animal Sanctuary, a stray dog by the name of Blue had arrived to a stranger’s house in early April looking for a safe place to rest.

An animal control agent scooped up the mix of pit bulls and brought it back to the kennel.

Blue had been living on the streets for an undetermined period of time, yet he seemed to get along with everyone he encountered.

He was a cheerful doggie, according to Tammy Davis, executive director of the rescue, who spoke to The Dodo.

He was initially a little wary and didn’t like being around so many other canines, but he was quite amiable with humans and the employees.

Due of the COVID-19 epidemic, the sanctuary had to seal its doors to the public at large and only let visits by appointment.

Due to the decreased pedestrian traffic, Blue sat in his cage for weeks, which ended up being an unexpected blessing.

What a gift for his dad, who never lost faith in his ability to locate him and was ultimately reconciled with his loyal friend.

To present him to potential adopters, the charity created a video and posted it to Facebook; intriguingly, one of the remarks said, “That’s my doggie,” so the only thing left to do was determine whether the guy was speaking the truth.

When we initially contacted the owner, he said, “Yes, I have photographs of my doggie,” he added.

He gave us pictures of him enjoying with same blue ball, which was his chew hobby, at his home.

His insanity. The happy man traveled more than 1,200 miles to retrieve his dog; it had been a while since they had last seen one another, and the homecoming could not have been more heartfelt.

“It was obvious that the doggie and the man had developed a bond,” the lady adds.

For a moment, he was startled and mused aloud, “Am I noticing things?” Then, all you could hear was kissing.

All creatures should have a joyful ending like that.
