Tourists visit Yellowstone and meet the park’s rarest creature

ANIMALS

An meeting with a wolverine, one of Yellowstone Park’s most secretive animals, was once in a lifetime for a group of wildlife lovers.

Both the tourists and their tour guide were taken aback by the extraordinarily unusual experience.

Thankfully, someone recorded the occurrence on film!

On their journey through the wildlife reserve last Saturday, a group of visitors were just in front of the wolverine as it crossed the street.

It even paused for a little period of time to take a respectable distance glance at them.

Even though the amazing experience was brief—just a few minutes—it held everyone’s attention, even a young girl with her dad who was 9 years old.

All across the rest of the tour, the 9-year-old daughter kept saying, “Wow… we saw a wolverine today!”

MacNeil, proprietor of the trip operator, told For The Win Outdoors.

I remarked, “She stated that was the finest day of her life.”

She even posted about the unexpected meeting on Fb!

These vacationers should count themselves very fortunate considering how unlikely it is to even glimpse a wolverine in Yellowstone, much less have one cross your path.

The park is home to just 7 of them that have been identified.

Watch the video to look at the unusual meeting and enjoy!
