According to ilovemydogsomuch, Nancy the Doberman suffered a fractured back and wound up in a trash after already being severely mistreated by her attacker.
The starving doggie would ultimately die from her wounds since the villain believed no one would discover her in the abandoned trash.
Nancy, though, was fighting for her life. Despite being rendered incapacitated by the pounding she received, she started stumbling amid the glass and metal fragments strewn across the yard.
She was crying and weeping, but she wasn’t going to give up. Thankfully, someone eventually saw her, brought her to the clinic, and hoped for her survival.
In this film, her traumatic hospitalization is depicted as she struggles to accept her paralysis.
Her injured spine is repaired by the vets during a challenging procedure, but her range of motion is severely constrained.
Her hind legs didn’t even move at all. Her caregivers decide to transfer her to a rehab clinic so she may get more care.
Her front legs eventually began to recover with ongoing water treatment, massages, and treadmill training after a demanding couple of months.
Her rear legs were mostly still immobile, though.
The kind girl was given a wheelchair so that she could play and interact with other shelter doggies since the volunteers didn’t want the nice girl to endure too much pain.
The doctors intend to keep her physical rehabilitation going. Her rear legs have already begun to move in a hopeful manner, and she can even go around without a chair!
She has endured her therapy like a true trooper. We pray she fully recovers and locates a warm permanent home!
