She wouldn’t have lived very long if she had been abandoned in a Minnesota alley with nothing but a frail wire container to keep the elements off of her.
Fortunately, a shelter worker found the dog and hurriedly transported her to a warm, secure location.
Since that terrifying day about a year ago, her life has radically altered, and for the better.
She should have weighed more like 45 pounds, according to Kelli, director of advertising and communication at Ruff Start Sanctuary, who stated as much to The Dodo.
Although we are unsure of how long she stood outside in the cold, I believe she was found rather shortly.
She was promptly freed by the worker, who also helped her inside the shelter of the sanctuary so she could escape the cold.
According to Hanson, “She was really affectionate and delighted to be heated.”
Before she got her permanent home, she spent almost a year in the rescue, where workers helped her regain her health.
The once lost dog is now prospering. Her new mother sent an update, and the rescue posted about it on Facebook.
Her mother said to Ruff Start Sanctuary, “After witnessing her tragic tale on the news, I felt I had to contact out to see what I could do to aid her.
Fortunately, I was selected to potentially adopt her.
Rosabella was successfully implemented to the female’s doggie, Lucy, by the woman.

She is such a wonderful child, full of joy and curiosity. She is always with us.
She has undoubtedly developed much, and she is healthy and active.
Her background is mostly unknown, however she now loves taking walks in the neighborhood or at the dog park, playing with her new sister, and taking long naps.
She won’t ever have to be concerned about surviving the harsh environment.
Her presence in my life has been enjoyable, the message said.
