Very often the bond between two different animals can be outside of love, friendship and warmth. Such is the relationship between Herman and Lundy.
This pigeon and the dog both have faults. The dove cannot fly and the dog cannot walk. That doesn’t stop them from being good friends.
They met at a rehabilitation center called Mia Foundation. A rescuer found Herman in the parking lot, the poor bird couldn’t move.He fought for his life but unfortunately he couldn’t fly anymore!
And Lundy appeared there when she was four months old. He refused to take a breeder from South Carolina because the dog was defective and could not walk. Eventually, he was taken to a shelter.
When these two animals met, no one thought they could become inseparable friends.Surprising, but it was love at first sight.
