After his father’s passing, one man found it difficult to continue caring for his mother, so he decided to place her in a nursing home. Unhappiness prevailed, and his visits were infrequent.
One day, a call came, notifying him of his mother’s declining health. She was in dire straits, and it seemed like her final days were upon her. The son hurried to the nursing home, making his way to his mother’s room, and earnestly inquired if there was anything he could do for her.
His mother gazed into his eyes and revealed her wishes. He assured her he’d do whatever it took to grant her final requests.
She then mentioned the malfunctioning fans that had caused discomfort and suffocation. “If you could change the refrigerator too,” she added, “there were days when I went to bed hungry because the food had expired.”

And they will bring you here… Then, you will find better conditions… What you offer is what you get… Don’t forget that.”
These words shattered the son’s heart into a million pieces. He realized he had erred in placing his mother in a nursing home against her wishes.
