A single mother begs for rides to the doctor for her child, who has a brain tumor, until a stranger offers her his car

Nikole, a single mother, realized something was wrong soon after giving birth to her son, Canyon.

He had chronic nausea throughout his childhood, and his eyes moved uncontrollably.

But the single mum of 23 was correct all along. He was really ill.

He was identified with an inoperable brain tumor that had migrated to his spinal cord.

He’s had at least 6 operations since then. She chose to give up her home so she could live with her parents full-time and concentrate on his care.

Another major issue confronted the young single mother: she lacked a car.

This caused she had to rely on others to transport him to his important visits at the Hopkins Hospital, which was about two hours away.

Nikole was obliged to plead her relatives and friends to take them to and from his chemotherapy appointments, which he just could not miss.

Members of Nikole’s neighborhood, notably a guy called Paul, were aware of her tale.

Following the death of Paul’s son, Eli, from acute lymphoblastic leukemia, Paul established the Eli Seth Matthew’s Leukemia Fund, which assists families with kids suffering cancer.

He was so moved by the single mom’s circumstances that he sought out to his supporters and volunteers to see if they could assist.

His search reached Cynthia Mowery, a recent crime academy product with an existence proposal for her and her kid.
