Woman convinces her partner to allow her to take the doggie to the vet and she drops a note about being abused

It’s a miracle that this terrible tale ended in such a happy place. A 28-year-old Florida woman from Volusia State said her partner subjected her to a week of unimaginable misery.

He started beating her up on a Wednesday night and then threatened her with his pistol.

They were battling over the rifle when it went off, shredding their house with bullets.

One of the bullets entered another room after passing through the walls.

The woman was apparently confined inside the house against her will for the following two days.

Then, on the Friday after that, she made the decision to act quickly and shrewdly in an effort to preserve her own life.

She persuaded the armed suspect to give her permission to take their dog to the neighborhood vet.

He consented, but insisted on accompanying her and kept holding her at gunpoint.

He apparently threatened to murder her and her fam when they were driving to the DeLand Vet Clinic and brandished a pistol at her.

She slipped a letter to an employee who worked there after the two entered the vet’s office covertly.

Call the police, it said. “I’m being threatened by my lover. He is armed. Don’t tell him, please.”
