Baby dumped at safe haven box at one day old is adopted by an Indiana cop and his wife

A policeman from Indiana and his spouse recently performed an absolutely wonderful act.

Policeman Bruce works for the Mishawaka Police Force.

But when he and his spouse Shelby welcomed their baby Myah, he simply gone beyond beyond the call of duties.

In barely one day old, the infant was left at a safe refuge site in Lake County.

Under Indiana’s Safe Refuge Act, an individual can give up a newborn who is under 30 days old secretly without worrying about being arrested or prosecuted.

She expresses her gratitude to the bio mom of her child for doing what she believed was necessary for her kid.

She informed WLKY, “I simply think mothers realize that they have a choice.”

“Myah was certainly the response to our prayers, and perhaps we were also the answer to her mother’s worship,” said the couple.
