The paramedic at the fatal crash had no idea she was nursing her own 17-year-old daughter

LIFE STORIES

A Canadian paramedic who arrived at the site of a fatal vehicle accident had no idea she was nursing her own 17-year-old child. The child’s wounds appeared to be too serious.

Jayme was the first response. On November 15, she was nursing a seriously wounded youngster who had been disentangled from his automobile and sent to the clinic.

Her wounds, however, had left her unidentifiable, even to her mom.

The situation was obviously horrifying. But it wasn’t until Erickson got home that she discovered the injured person was her child.

At the conclusion of the day, she was contacted at her house by officers from the Royal Canadian Mounted Agency, who informed her that the young lady she had been nursing was her child, Montana.

This week, the bereaved mom talked with reporters about her child.

“She was a warrior who battled until she died, and she was gorgeous,” she added.

“She was breathtakingly lovely. She will always achieve if she puts forth the effort.”
