The owner of this dog, named Blue, stopped thinking that he would see his beloved dog again.
According to the Washington Animal Shelter in early April last year, a stray dog named Blue once approached a stranger’s house looking for a safe place to rest.
The pit bull mix was soon picked up by animal control officers and quickly transported back to the shelter.
No one knows how long Blue lay on the streets, but he liked everyone he met. The dog was at first a little afraid and hesitant and did not like being around so many dogs, but he was very friendly to all people.
Unfortunately, the shelter closed its doors due to the outbreak of the virus and no longer accepts visitors. The dog remained in his kennel for several months and during this time no one picked him up.
It was a real miracle for its owner, who never lost hope of finding it again. After that, the shelter posted his information on social networks to introduce him to possible adoptive parents.
In one of the comments, one of the users wrote “this is my dog” and they decided to find out who it is. Tammy told them that she had pictures of the dog playing with the blue ball that was his favorite toy.
He traveled over 1200 miles to pick up his beloved pet, they hadn’t seen each other in a very long time and their reunion was very emotional.
