This is Kenai, a three-year-old golden retriever. She, her owner and Pam are very fond of taking long walks so that the dog can play and sniff everything that comes his way.

They went for a walk by the river, it was very cold there. When the owner saw that his pet was refusing to play, he got worried and looked at him.
Kenai began to bark towards the river bank after sniffing the area.
Pam didn’t understand what was happening there at first, but after a few minutes she realized that the dog wouldn’t stop until he got his attention.
Suddenly, Pam found a wounded bald eagle lying on the snow, which tried to fly, but could not.
She felt she should help him, but as soon as she spotted the dog, she ran away.
After they left, Pam couldn’t help but worry about the sad bird. She decided to come back again the next day with the dog.
It took no more than a few minutes for Kenai to find the injured eagle, but this time Pam kept a little further away so as not to startle the poor bird.
She reported this to the Ministry of Natural Resources, which sent a team of experts there as soon as possible.
The wings of the eagle were frozen, and after a series of examinations, it was found that one of its shoulders was broken.
They took him to a safe place and followed him.
The poor bird was suffering from lead poisoning. He was in very poor health, but Kenai and his owner were able to find him in time.
