This boy asked an unfamiliar soldier to give his father a plate of cake and was surprised to see it the next day.
One Monday morning, Tom was about to go to school. The school was close to their house and he was going to go there on foot.
Suddenly he looked at his mother and began to cry, asking her if his father would come home for Christmas. He was very eagerly waiting for his father, who was a military man.
Mom said that dad would come, but he did not believe her and was very upset. He knew that she was lying and that in fact they would not be released at Christmas. He hugged her anyway and left the house.
On the street, he saw a soldier and looked at him with tears in his eyes, missing his dad. Tom decided that he could talk to him and ask him something. He called a soldier who looked around and saw a boy with a sad face.
He became very interested in why he called him and he approached them to understand what had happened to him. In fact, before that, he met many children on the street who just wanted money or some kind of sweets from him.
But Tom didn’t call him for that reason. He was about to give him money when the boy said that he had an unusual request.
The soldier felt very sorry for Tom and he heard what he was talking about. The boy said that he had not seen his father for 6 months and knew that he would not come home for Christmas.
While he began to think about how you can help him, the boy began to look for something in the bag. He pulled out some kind of pie, gave it to the soldier in his hands and asked him to pass this apple pie to his dad. He asked him to find his father and be sure to convey this to him.
Tom said that his father loves this cake very much and always says that you should always eat them, because they are “healthy” and tasty.
Tom’s request touched the soldier’s heart very much and he could not refuse it. But the only question was that he didn’t know where the boy’s father was, he didn’t even know what he looked like.
Tom didn’t have any photos or information about his father so he could pass it on to him. The soldier took the box and thoughtfully gorged. However, oddly enough, he found out that he was serving in his own unit and immediately found him.
The child’s father said that he had not been home for more than 7 months due to the fact that he was on a very important mission.
The soldier was very happy to find the boy’s father and was sure that Tom would be happy to know that he had given the cake to him. That day they went home together and the soldier even stayed at their house.
Together they tasted the cake that little Tom so wanted to give him. The soldier said the pie was delicious and really just as “healthy” as Tom had said. They laughed together and were very happy!
