Meet this dog named Rex, who was abused by his former owners for a very long time. We are comforted by the fact that in the end he lived the good life he deserved.
Recently, the story of this dog has become very popular, as the rescuers of SPA Strasbourg have done a lot of work on it.
Abuse in their house lasted more than eight years, after which, when he was rescued, they began to look for a new family for him.
Rex did not know what love and care of a person is, for so many years he lived in pain, locked in a barn in the middle of the earth. The owners only fed and watered him and he never felt their warmth and love.
Fortunately, he was found and rescued, after which he was placed in a shelter. The first time he was adopted in April 2021, he had an autoimmune disease that caused him severe itching and scabs all over his body.
Once he even could have died from it, but he survived. And as for the owners, they didn’t even resist him leaving because they didn’t want to keep him anymore.
They gave the dog to a shelter where he was adopted by a new, completely different family that adored him.
They gave the dog another chance to live a happy life and this time he succeeded. They took care of him, loved him and gave him a lot of warmth.
But unfortunately, on June 21, 2022, he went to heaven, leaving a trace behind him. It’s good that he spent the last months of his life the happiest and most beloved!
