Two little destinies met. One day, a woman was picking up her 6-year-old daughter Eddie from school. On the way home, they suddenly noticed a kitten running frantically towards the buses.
Eddie rushed to save the animal, fearing that it would be crushed by the wheels. They took the kitten with them to the car. The woman called a volunteer named Jen to find out what to do.
Eddie watched the shy kitten all the time and wanted him to feel safe. She took him in her arms and gently hugged him, and the kitten hugged her behind her back.
The kitten instantly calmed down and turned on its purring engine. He stayed in her arms and did not try to run away, he realized that he was safe.
Eddie spoke to the kitten, reassuring him that everything would be fine. She quickly managed to win the trust of the baby. The family also has dogs at home, but the girl has always loved cats.
Even though Eddie couldn’t take the kitten home because her dogs weren’t friendly with cats, she helped the little one get used to people and even chose a name for him.
Jen asked Eddie for the kitten’s name and she said she wanted to name it Bubblegum!
Later that night, Eddie and his mother returned to the school to look for the mother or other kittens, but no other animals were there. How Bubblegum ended up alone remains a mystery.
Now he will never again be left without food and shelter. Volunteers quickly got the kitten. In a week, he gained a pound and a lot of energy. Bubblegum loves to play and sleep with his older siblings.
Even the grumpy old house cat loves him. This is the most sociable and cute kitten. Jen says his purr can be heard for miles and loves to snuggle up on his lap.
Volunteers add that they are very proud of 6-year-old Eddie, who once did not pass by a frightened kitten and gave him a new life.
