Families are different and they are all special and beautiful in their own way. Each family is unique in its own way, some like to live in a large, large family, but there are also people who like a little quiet house.
The family we are going to talk about has gone through many hardships in their lives. This is a couple Patty and Carlos, they live in North Carolina.
Their family consists of 18 people, the couple has 16 children – 6 sons and 10 daughters, and the children’s names begin only with the letter C in honor of Carlos. Patty is 40 years old and has been pregnant for 14 years of her life.
Their last baby was born in May 2021, but they said that this would not be the last child in their family.
The mother admitted that she has a lot of worries at the moment, but she is still grateful for all of them and believes that this is a gift to them from God.
In January 2019, a typical morning, at 8 am, Patty cooked breakfast for everyone, it was waffles, cereal and pancakes. After breakfast they all prayed, sang and read. Then the children went to school and she stayed at home to do household chores.
She said she was trying to finish everything before the kids got home from school. The children do their homework at school and return home by 6.
They then had dinner, beans, eggs, salad and pasta. After dinner they played a little and went to bed at 8:30.
They are now expecting their 17th child, due in February 2023. They said they wanted 10 boys and 10 girls. The couple always dreamed of a big family.
As their family got bigger and bigger, they sold their regular car and bought a 20 seat bus for the whole family. It is on it that dad takes the children to school. A pregnant woman is often criticized, but does not pay attention to it.
As for money, they both said they spend about £780 (that’s about $900) a week just on food and school lunches.
They are glad that they have so many children, but with each child they have more troubles and everything becomes more difficult.
Despite all the difficulties, they are happy and love their life. And we really hope that everything will be as they planned, let a healthy baby be born!
