Meet Roger – a 6 year old Chinese Crested dog. This small-looking dog has never seen or felt the joy of life in her life. He was only allowed to go to the garden once a day just to avoid staying at home all day.
The dog had many brothers and sisters, but of them only he suffered and was subjected to bad treatment. But one day the RSPCA found out the story about this dog and decided to save him.
Roger was taken from there and transferred to an animal rescue center in Hampshire, where they began to give him all the attention. From now on, he was loved and everyone took care of him.
But some problems arose in the shelter due to the fact that he could not get used to other dogs for a long time. He believed that they were a threat to him, he was afraid of them and thought that they were his enemies.
Therefore, several training courses were taken with him, and for this it took a lot of time and patience. For this, his trust was needed, but unfortunately, at first he did not trust anyone so much.
During training, his heart was won by food and various treats, after which he had a happy expression on his face. And when they told him that he was a good boy, he wagged his tail for joy.
Roger has already changed a lot, from time to time showing interest in other dogs and shelter staff. And those who saved him, he is especially grateful and has already managed to become attached to them.
His guardians love him very much, he has become a very affectionate dog and cuddles with them when petted. Now work with Roger is over and he is looking for an owner who will love him and not treat him badly. He will be the perfect companion for a loving person!
