Employees of the Chinese zoo recently saw a rather heartbreaking sight. The poor baby elephant was separated from his mother and began to cry incessantly.
It happened like this: the baby elephant was just born, but it so happened that the mother stepped on him immediately after the birth.
He was sent to a veterinary clinic, where they decided to leave him in a cage and look after him and, if something happens, help him.
After about 2 hours, he was returned to the cage again and placed next to his mother so that they could find a common language. His mother again attacked her own child and began to advance on him.
The specialists realized in time that he needed help and treated his wounds. After the experiment, they realized that in fact it was not an accident.
The employees were very surprised by this behavior of the mother elephant, because it was a rarity. They urgently released the baby from the cage, because his mother was too aggressive towards him and it threatened his life.
This separation touched the baby’s heart very much and he immediately began to cry. The staff tried to somehow calm the baby, but nothing helped.
They said that the baby elephant cried for hours because he wanted to go to his mother and his mother only tried to kill him and did not want him to be around.
The elephant behaved inappropriately and very aggressively, which was surprising, because she had recently given birth to a baby.
