A family thought their favorite beagle mix was lost forever. But they didn’t expect their dog to return – and even with a surprise for them!
Peter and Paula Kloser were terribly worried because their Bonnie didn’t come home after she disappeared on Sunday.
The dog is 5 years old, and although he is a strong and healthy pup, the owners are upset that he is running around the neighborhood on his own.
Later, their worries were allayed when the pup came home. Additionally, the couple noticed that Bonnie had some sort of yellow ribbon tied around her neck.
It was written on it that the puppy had taken 3rd place at the dog show! Intrigued by his reward, the couple finally found out what really happened.
When John Wilmer spotted him, he was on his way to a dog show, and suddenly a brilliant idea came to his mind.
He was going to a dog show with his dog and thought he might take a beagle with him. John has two other dogs that he also brought to the show.
At that time, he managed to post an informative message on social media that he had found Bonnie.
And indeed, Bonnie took 3rd place! It looked like Bonnie had left home to win. Peter and Paula come across a Facebook post written by John and are relieved to find that Bonnie is in good hands.
On the same day, Bonnie ran into their arms, but this time with a gift.
Bonnie wore the ribbon with pride and her owners are proud of her achievement. Due to the incident, Peter and Paula have become more cautious when the dog is away from home.
Currently, Bonnie is a bronze medalist, but next time she might have the chance to win a gold medal!
Well, if Bonnie managed to win 3rd prize with no preparation, maybe she could reach 1st with proper practice. It looks like it has a lot of potential!
