On the Father’s Day episode of The Don and Marie Show, Donnie got a huge surprise for himself. Everything was as usual, but Donnie’s life was about to take an unusual turn of events.
While celebrating Father’s Day, Mary read a letter to him from a man who had remained in the tabernacle. Donny said that everyone should strive to follow in the footsteps of their partners and looked at Maria with love in his eyes.
It was written in the letter that the person who wrote this admires the fact that they are at this holiday. The writer seemed to know what was happening there because he wrote that he was very glad that he was laughing and something made him so happy.
Donnie seemed to understand what the letter was and who it might be from, and he was sure the letter was about him. He was quite serious, and Maria continued to read the contents of the letter. It was also written in the letter how this person adores him and strongly hopes that he can justify what he wrote.
Don began to cry, shaking his head, and Maria comforted him. They started showing a picture of Donnie’s son on TV. For the listeners and all those who were there and looked at the screen, it was a very emotional moment.
The entire Donny family was present on stage and absolutely everyone was moved to tears and hugged.
The audience in the studio applauded when Don introduced his family. According to his wife, she was a lousy cook. When his son changed clothes, the audience burst into laughter. Everyone was able to join this exciting performance and it was a great family event for everyone.
