We are all afraid of losing our pets. Not knowing where they are, if they are okay or if something is hurting them.
In 2015, his beloved dog Jorge disappeared from his home in the city of Tbilisi. And even though they were separated, it seemed like they might never see each other again, it was obvious that they still missed each other.
He looked everywhere for Jorge to no avail and asked the neighbors to look for him. If anyone saw a dog that looked like Jorge, they wanted to know. But the months turned into a year, and it looked like it wouldn’t happen again.
And then one day it all came together. They searched for three years. Then they found him. In October 2018, employees of a local business who learned of Jorge’s search noticed a dog that looked a lot like him.
The only difference was that this dog was given a yellow ear tag – it was a homeless mark. Fortunately, they contacted Beregiani and told him about the dog. Beregiani rushed there, hoping the dog was still there. He saw the dog and immediately knew it was Jorge.
Walking up to the tree where the dog was sleeping sadly, he turned on the camera and called out the puppy’s name, and Jorge recognized the combination of his name and the voice calling him. He looked up in confusion and immediately turned away.
A very sweet moment followed when they got to know each other. Frankly, the clip is very touching.Jorge jumped for joy, even though he jumped on his former owner and showered him with kisses.
It was a beautiful moment, which is why it has been viewed over 3.2 million times since it aired.
