This story is about a cat named Bob who completely changed the life of a homeless man. A boy named James Bowen was born on March 15, 1979 in Surrey, England. But the family broke up and his mother took him to Australia. At school, he was busy with lessons and didn’t even have any friends. He did not continue his studies in high school.

He then returned to England with his sister-in-law. But because their relationship did not go well, the boy continued to sleep on the streets. He earned money by playing the guitar outside, sleeping outside or in dormitories.

Depression and mental disorders forced him to take drugs. People didn’t understand him, they didn’t understand that the boy doesn’t ask for money, it’s his job. And because he looked bad, he was despised.

Then he quit drugs and in the spring of 2007 he started a program. He performed in the streets of Covent Garden and lived in a small room given to him by the council.

And one day, on his way home, he saw a cat with an injury that needed  help. He decided to help the animal and named it Twin Peaks. When he met this creature which was in worse condition than him, he gained more strength. He cured the cat and since that day the animal accompanied him everywhere.

To attract more viewers, they made videos and posted them on the Internet. After an interview with a local newspaper, the boy decided to write a book about his fateful meeting with Bob.

Dogs usually sit loyally next to their owner, and it was truly amazing to see such a thing. He was an amazing, well-behaved cat.

Eventually their story became known and a book called James A Street Cat Named Bob was published, which was later translated into several languages.
