Mike Digout loved photographing nearby animals and birds. He liked to walk along the river and take pictures of nature. But he never liked geese until the day he met them.
He went out with his camera and admired the geese swimming in the river. It was fun for him to see them nesting. But one day, he witnesses an incredible scene: the mother goose is resting with her young.
The photographer was surprised by the number of little geese looking for a place under their mother’s feathers to spend the night there. He compared the children to a tennis ball. He went to see them every night and saw that their number increased every day.
Their mother made sure that the children did not need anything. The photographer realized that this mother goose takes care of children from different families.
They grew very quickly and no longer hid under the mother goose. All of this will continue until they return south in the fall.
