Casey Simmons lived in Little Elm County, Denton, Texas. He worked as a waitress at Applebee’s restaurant. One day, while shopping in a supermarket, he encountered a strange experience.
As the others passed by, he said that there was something about this woman that made him speak to her. So he approached her and told her that it was not raining and there was no reason to look so gloomy.
He said that he was sure that she had a beautiful smile because she was a beautiful woman.
The resident noticed that the lady seemed to be ignoring him, but it was not difficult to understand that she was having a bad day.
He wanted to make her laugh, but no matter how hard he tried, nothing happened. Simmons says that after much persuasion, he managed to get her to smile.
A few hours later he came to the evening service in the restaurant. He’s not in a good mood when the customer comes in.
Simmons told the woman it would take them about 45 minutes to serve her. Simmons then returned with a check for 65 cents for flavored water, the cheapest item on the menu. The client asked for a tip.
Simmons was stunned and speechless. After recovering from the initial shock, he noticed something on the napkin. He nearly suffocated as he read what he had written aloud.
The tip was huge, as was the smile on Simmons’ face. At first he thought it was some kind of joke, but the 5 cents on the table and a kind word proved him wrong.
Simmons said he hopes to meet the family in person and thank them for their kind gesture. This story shows without a doubt that what we send into space will come back to us, and that good deeds should always come back!
