In the past a dog named Aita lived a horrible life in Patterson, located in New Jersey.
When Craig,his future owner, arrived at an abandoned house where he had been trapped, the dog was already in a very bad condition. Ayta was so small, but still crammed into a small cage.
When Craig decided to let him out of the cage, he found it very difficult to walk.
He did not yet understand the extent of his disability, but accepted him with open arms.
After visits to many veterinarians, he was diagnosed with a rare disease called mucopolysaccharidosis.
This means that the dog is not able to metabolise sugar normally.
However, this situation does not prevent Ayta from living her best life.
Aita seems disabled, but she still manages to bypass everything and overcome all difficulties. Craig calls him a pit bull for his appearance. In time, Craig realized that this unique dog is always going to belong him.
When Craig starts singing, it seems as if Aita’s little body comes to life. She just adores it! She is incredibly happy with Craig.
Craig always mentions that the dog made him look at the world differently.
These are very powerful words that are nourished by love and warmth.
Despite all this, unfortunately, his life span is not very long.
His veterinarian thinks he can live no more than two years. But it does not matter to his father. The important thing for him is that the dog is living the happiest years of his life.
Craig can truly be considered the best father on the planet. Aita lives her days perfectly.
